1. SUMMERS LONG GONE.
Lyrics & music by CARRIE with Phil Rowley on guitar and help with middle section of song. Lyrics gained inspiration from the UK's current and worsening weather conditions, although generally a happy, bouncy little tune the chorus slaggs off the British weather men and remembers what our summers were like many moons ago. Watch out for this song as it's tipped to be a sure hit! Recorded, produced, engineered and mixed by CARRIE in Private Dick Studio's, Bournemouth.
2. DEEP IN YOUR HEART.
Lyrics and music written by CARRIE, recorded in Cornwall and produced by respected U.S. producer Gareth Young. Song is mainly about the deep inner feelings of a young person and trying to understand a partners feelings.
3 LANGUAGE OF MY EYES.
Music by CARRIE & Jamie King in one short evening. Recorded at Knighton Heath Studios in one hellish long month. Lyrics by Mike and Jan Plummer - a husband and wife team, mainly about when they first met. She went upstairs he stayed down, 2 hours later they met on 'the strairs' with these lyrics - originally titled 'Chance Meeting'.
4. JUST 4 U.
Lyrics by Stephen Charles Lawford - CARRIE'S mad mate from Ringwood (can't sing a note though), and music written by CARRIE. This song was the first that CARRIE has ever properly produced and mixed by herself - what a experience that was - very rewarding too! Another love song about that person wishing his girl would love him in the same way as he did.
5. IT'S HIS NATURE.
Again written mainly by CARRIE with the help of Phil 'the snapper' Rowley. Recorded at Private Dick Studios. These lyrics were written by CARRIE some 14 years ago whilst she was in her school uniform, looking back, the lyrics were deep and meaningful unlike today's cheesy pop classic's.. The song is about a hurt woman trying to regain her confidence in life, she has lost all faith in men, the song reminds us all that there is live after broken love.
6. Mother To A Son.
Written in 1996 by CARRIE, recorded at Private Dick Studios. A song about a Mother having a heart-to-heart with her son, advising him of the pitfuls of live, love and NOT how most men treat their women. This acoustic version is not the usual run-of-the mill love song.
